InpaintingAI uses deterministic auto routing to select a suitable fal.ai endpoint for each separate mark. Precise removal and repair normally use FLUX.1 Fill Pro; semantic replacement or style edits may use Nano Banana 2; text and complex composition edits may use GPT Image 1.5. Availability and routing rules can change as models are evaluated and updated.
One credit equals one billed output megapixel for the model selected by auto routing. Each separate output is rounded up to the next whole megapixel, so a 1.2 MP output uses 2 credits.
You can add up to three marks. They are not merged: InpaintingAI sends them to the model sequentially as separate calls, and each call uses credits based on its output size.
Monthly plans issue 80 credits for each subscription billing period, and unused credits expire at that period's end. Annual plans issue 960 credits upfront for the annual period.
Stopping renewal takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Within 14 days of successful payment, an eligible immediate partial refund uses the lower of the unused-time and remaining-paid-credit ratios. Legal rights that cannot be limited still apply.
Credits are released only when we can confirm no billable provider output was produced. If the fal.ai request already incurred actual cost, the credits are not returned. Requests with an unknown provider status stay reserved until reconciled.
Only the latest original image, combined mask preview, and final result are retained in private storage. Generation metadata remains in your account history, while intermediate masks and results are temporary.
